Learning Goals
In this section of work, students will build and code Spike Prime robots to perform an autonomous tasks.
Success Criteria
Students will demonstrate their skills by:
- Constructing a ‘Hopper’ robot:
- using the Spike website or
- using the build instructions below
- Program their robot to race other groups robots.

If you have internet access
1. Follow the link to the Spike Lego website https://education.lego.com/en-au/downloads/spike-app/software
2. Select Spike PRIME
3. Select Spike Unit Plans
4. Select Spike Invention Squad
5. Select Spike Hopper Race
- Watch the video
- Open the Hopper Build Instructions and follow the steps to build your robot
- Connect your hub and download the code (Change the code so that your robot runs for 15 secs)
