TASK

Use AI to Create a Revision Plan and resources for ONE or your MESH subjects to help you with an upcoming test.


1. Select a MESH subject. (Choose a different one from your friends and you can share your plan and resources with each other)
2. Collect available resources
3. Choose and AI that allows you to upload multiple documents, and upload them.(NotebookLM is great for this)
4. Ask the AI to create a revision plan and revision resources (Notes, Sample Questions, Quiz, Flash Cards etc.)

Collecting Resources

You should be able to find lots of resources on the Connect page for your chosen course

  • Topic Outline – May be a sub component of a Term/Semester outline
  • Success Criteria – These may be in an outline or as a separate resource
  • Sample Questions and Answers
  • Past Tests
  • Marking Keys for past tests
  • Any other materials your teacher may have provided to help you with the topic
    (NotebookLM allows up to 50 documents)

NotebookLM or …

You will need a google account to use NotebookLM.
You can create one if you don’t have one already

Go to https://notebooklm.google.com/

Add all the resources you have to your NotebookLM.

Other AI’s

For some other AI’s you should describe each of the files you upload.
e.g. Say – I am about to upload a previous test for the topic

Create a revision plan

Step One: Tell the AI how long until your test and how much time your want to revise

My test is in 2 1/2 weeks and I want to revise for 15 minutes 3 times a week.

Step Two: Review

Look through the plan to see that it includes the content that you through it would.
If NOT ask the AI to make some alterations.

Look through the plan to see that it has timing that suits you.
e.g. If it suggest revising on a Wednesday, but you have sport training on that day, ask it to modify the plan.

Create revision resources

Step One: Ask the AI to build resource you can use to revise

Please create

  • Some notes to help me study for a geography test
  • 10 sample questions which may be in a geography test
  • Flash cards
  • 20 multi choice questions to help me test my knowledge before the test. Please create this as a single html document.

Step Two: Review

Look through your resource and check if it needs some minor adjustments and if so ask the AI to fix it.
